The 5* Hotel Bagués is located in an historic building, built by the architect Josep Fontseré Domènech in 1850, which for over a century housed a jewellery workshop.
Popularly known as El Regulador, it owes its name to the scales at the front of the building, which all residents and customers of the Boquería Market were free to use.
